Species parameter is not passed from homepage #430

Steps to reproduce:

  1. On the scxa home page search for a gene and also select species from the drop-down

Expected behaviour: Search result is filtered by the selected `species

Actual behaviour: Selected species getting ignored when searching for the search term.
