Hi

I realise that we keep asking about this but Rachael and I are still confused about the difference between rolled and unrolled annotation reports.

Please see attached doc

I'm going to start with the last question, because that's the easiest: "5. The rolled report with data broken down by year (when there is no selection of dates) doesn’t seem to be available for years after 2012"

I've just tried running that report, and it behaves as expected. However, with the "Maximum number of results to display" parameter set to the default value of 1000, it only displays results up to February 2017. To see the full set (1095 rows) you either need to increase the limit or use the download option.

I've found (and - hopefully - fixed) a bug in the two "unrolled" reports that meant that they weren't handling deleted annotations correctly.

Note that - because of the way that our auditing works, combined with the way that unrolling annotation extensions is done - it is possible that the numbers from the rolled and unrolled versions of the reports will not be identical if the extension has been changed.

Re your point 4:

"4. I have attached screenshots below which show that for unrolled report with no selection of dates there is no breakdown by curator for the total period, whereas with the rolled report the total for the period (again not selected period) is given for each curator. It would be nice to have the same data range/viewable in each report"

Done.
