Duplicate CPX annotations in Protein2GO? #27

Hi @alexsign

I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, but I'm wondering if there are duplicate CPX annotations entered into Protein2GO.

Here's a screenshot of what I see:

Thanks, --Kimberly

i see the same, but not for all CPXP annotations - it seems like it's only a problem for terms that have been involved in recent annotation review tickets.

This happened because P55201 is in two complexes CPX-727 and CPX-738. When we worked on the annotations decomposition we didn't find a way to show the information from which complex annotation was created. I think for now I'll try to find a way to eliminate duplication.

Ah, I see. Thanks @alexsign It would be nice to have a way to capture the extra information from membership in which complex the annotation was created, but I can't think of any easy solution that fits within the current constraints of our annotation guidelines and file formats.
