No Send Test Email function #5

Hi, After switching over from the previous module (magento2-mandrill), I realised the "Send Test Email" function has been removed. I found it very handy to quickly test if anything broke after an upgrade of PHP, Magento or the module itself.

Can I ask if there is any plan to reintroduce this feature in the near future?
