Describe the bug Problems launching Valheim from R2ModMan (r2mm) after Steam UI update

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open r2mm v3.1.42.appimage
  2. Copy launch options (see screenshot 1)
  3. Open Steam
  4. Open Steam library
  5. Right click 'Valheim' and choose properties
  6. On general tab, scroll down to launch options
  7. Paste command from r2mm (see screenshot 2)
  8. Close Steam dialogues
  9. Click continue in r2mm
  10. Select profile in r2mm
  11. Click 'Start modded' in r2mm
  12. Second instance of Steam starts, but unlike first, is not responsive (see screenshot 3)

Expected behavior Before the new Steam UI update, Steam and r2mm worked perfectly. However, in all fairness I was using Steam proton compatibility before realising Valheim works natively in Linux. However, even if I switch to proton, r2mm wants me to copy the Linux wrapper command, producing the same result where Steam dialogues nor Valheim launch properly.

Additional context Steam and Valheim launch without issue as long as it is not driven by r2mm

Were you ever able to figure this out? The game ran with mods when I installed them all the other day, but randomly stopped working the next day and I haven't been able to get the game to launch since. Very very frustrating.

No. Still waiting on an acknowledgement.

It might be a different issue, but one day my existing profiles just stopped launching. After trying for quite some time to get it to work, and failing, I tried creating a brand new profile and it worked just fine.

Edit: This might be due to the unstripped corelibs still being in the old profile's folder?

I think there's another bug here as well as what @jpw1991 is suggesting. It fails to start up even on a blank profile if there's spaces or hyphens in the profile name from what I can tell. I then tested with a single word such as testprofile and it fires up in modded mode.
