Jessica Watson, a colleague of Tom's, has a forthcoming paper in BJGP about inflammatory markers, which will have some data around potential harms, excess costs etc

Recent BBC article about giving hypertension drugs to more people based on their QRISK. Methods for NICE guidance mention specificity, selectivity, mortality etc, but quick scan of other docs doesn't result in numbers popping out easily....
