I propose selecting the data variable to be read from time-changing NetCDF map-stacks based on the number of dimensions (3: time, y/lat, x/lon) instead of the variable order in the file (current situation, which may force the user to re-format large forcing files): see commit 3e8da6787c6227c2a45a6a880eb69c3fffb09c58

@bissebe had an exception using forcing files for Europe written by LISVAP (commit: https://github.com/ec-jrc/lisflood-lisvap/commit/c768a4cad0398613138b119fab3b3be76acf158a), where the variable "laea" was last.
