I could possibly help maintain this script. Just send me an email.

Helixable what is your knowledge of gimkit? I saw you made a bookmarklet for quizlet once.

ghost commented 4 years ago

Not much honestly. I would like to learn though.

I believe you can do it. Hope ecc521 allows

ecc521 commented 4 years ago

I've made a backup of the repo, and given you push access to it. Hopefully, your status will no longer have to be "bored".

ecc521 commented 4 years ago

I also added a few comments to the repository. If additional assistance is required, you can either send me an email, or open/comment on an issue.

I don't know if this guy is a contributor, but he is using work and ( I believe ) not giving you credit, changing the license from GPL to MIT, and other stuff. He pretty much rewrote your entire program into python. Just wanted to let you know about this

ecc521 commented 4 years ago

@FloppyT EDITED: I forgot I used the GPL for this project, and replied assuming that I had used MIT. (That's the problem with licensing repositories differently. Most of mine are MIT or Unlicense)

The python program is actually exactly the kind of thing I was hoping for - something that would run a browser that the program controlled, allowing our clicks to be indistinguishable from real ones.

ecc521 commented 4 years ago

And no, @Lukaja21 was not a collaborator on the original project. The license should be changed to GPL, and include me, the original author. If GPL is a problem, I am willing to consider changing the license on that particular version.

EDIT: I believe this one is dealt with. https://github.com/Lukaja21/Gimkit-Bot/issues/1
