Question about "The winners is invited to submit a paper to an IJCV special issue" #16

Open vtddggg opened 2 years ago

vtddggg commented 2 years ago
  1. Only top 1 winner is invited to IJCV special issue, or others can also have a chance to submit?

  2. Is the paper invited in IJCV Special Issue Track 2 or Track 1? It seems papers in track 2 need to contain technical implementation details and combinations of existing techniques which lead to the winning entries. But papers in track 2 focus on innovative methods.

  3. For a paper submission of competition winner, is there any possibility of being rejected by IJCV?

Thanks for your time to give more details about the competition.

Hi, Thanks for your interest in our workshop. Regarding your questions:

  1. I am checking this with the guest editors of the special issue, but it is likely that only top-1 will be invited
  2. It is track 2
  3. Yes, if the paper does not meet the standards of IJCV, it will be rejected.

Hi,

Thanks for your wonderful work on this challenge. Will the winners of three tracks invited to submit three separate papers or contribute to one challenge report together?
