Updated from Swift 2.0 to 5.0 and cleaned up the code

• Updated the code from Swift 2.0 to 5.0
• Updated code to match modern day Swift standards (at least more so than it was)
• Updated demo project files to work with the latest devices
• Updated README to reflect changes
