Character count remaining stops working when adding a link #19

When you are typing a new tweet, the character count stops working when adding a link to the tweet. It appears to stop when it receives http://. However for https, it stops working when you add a domain name. For example: "https://a".

I think it has something to do with the URL shortener. I'm having the same issue with both when typing a letter after the protocol (the behavior with https for you). We should think about the best behavior : counting everything / counting everything without the links sizes / counting with a short URL approximation ?
