Only for Firefox 43: Open about:config Search for: xpinstall.signatures.required Dubbelclick the stting (should be false now) Now you can use Echofon again. For Firefox 44 it is probably not possible anymore :-(
There's a new version coming in, you can try it (but we still have changes to make before publishing a new release) https://github.com/echofox-team/echofon-firefox-unofficial/pull/39#issuecomment-166368506
That's good news! I've downloaded it and will test it. It would be very annoying to loose Echofon (Echofox now) in Firefox 44 because of this signing troubles. Thanks very much.
@YoruNoHikage I installed echofox-2.6-fx.xpi (renamed .zip to .xpi) in Firefox 43.0.4 with "xpinstall.signatures.required" set to "true". It installed without any problems and all settings from Echofon were found. Great job. Thanks again. I will report bugs if I find them.
Fixed with latest release :)
WIN 7 HP FIREFOX 43.0.1 ECHOFON 2.5.2
My 2.5.2 was disabled because it is not verified / signed.
The current 2.5.4 will not install for the same reason.
