dependency updates

This was branched off of the osPath bugfix branch. This should merge after PR #96, or can be merged into #96 before that PR is closed.

go mod tidy seems to be removing needed lines from the go.sum file. also, seems that specific versions of x/crypto and x/sys needed to be forced. go mod doesn't seem to be acting in the expected manor by the build tool.

Helps to have the git actions updated too. I hope no one ever sees this. 😓
