I understand. When creating such plugins, it is not equally possible to fulfill all different layout constraints.
However, I understand your use case. So I put in a quick fix, which renders longer class ids smaller:
- [quick fix] depending of length of product classification class id text, display the text larger (1.4x) or not (1.0x)
Actually, I am not sure, if IEC CDD foresees a more concise mechanism to express the class id. I'va asked a colleague from SICK for this.
The current rendering is as such:
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I have introduced the product classification in our AASX. However, parts of the information get cropped.

Describe alternatives you've considered Using a different text. However, as I read the specification (IDTA 02003-1-2 , page 13). I shall use the IRDI as the value and as the valueId. This doesn't make much sense to me, but it's specified like that.
