UPDATE:
I found the problem:
[ERROR] ERR! Trouble generating info: Der Befehl "K:\Eclipse" ist entweder falsch geschrieben oder [ERROR] konnte nicht gefunden werden.
Seems like there isn't a space in the name of the base folder allowed. I'm not sure if this is intended or even known. I'll leave this issue unclosed for the devs.

Let's say: It is known by some guys  Would be great if this would be part of the development guide / documentation.
Would you like to contribute some improvements to the documentation? As a "new guy" you identify the missing details in the setup instructions better then the ones that are confident with it.
Would be glad to help. But there a two problems: 1) Language: I'm from germany and therefore my native language isn't english. Could be a problem in the documentation (mistakes and so on) 2) Right now I'm working on my bachelor thesis. And it's horribly time consuming.
Just from the logs it seems to be a problem with closure-util
which is used to build the OpenLayers JS library for Paper UI.

I ran into exactly the same problem, so I took a closer look at the documentation another day and I noticed I failed to read this phrase of the OpenHab IDE Tutorial:
- Now provide an installation folder (don't use spaces in the path on Windows!) and your Github id (used to push your changesets to) and select "Next".
When looking for that specific phrase right now, I noticed, that Step 5 in the Eclipse Smarthome IDE Tutorial doesn't provide that information. So I guess that's the reason I missed it in the first place.
@Eseraz yep, I followed the second link....
@TheTmirror At least I am not the only one :D If you didn't point that out I'd still think I was unable to read properly, so thank you for that!
I will add this to the documentation as soon as I can, if no one else would like to.
Does anybody know why the documentation differs anyway?
Hey there,
I'm currently trying to set up Eclipse Smart Home so that I am able to programm a custom binder. I've not a lot of experience with Maven (beside some simple builds) and I have quiet a hard time to make a working build. The build process fails everytime at the creation of the Paper - UI. This is the error message I get:
I srsly have no idea how i can solve my error. I tried countless advices from other posts, but nothing seems to work. For example: I already tried to clean my git workspace (#4863). My operating system is Windows 7. I hope you can help me out.
I'll excuse in advance for my language and grammar mistakes, but english is not my native language :)
Greetings, Tmirror
