Description

When loading another view into the preview I observe instability with frequent crashes when opening view models and when using reference controls (probably caused by the ref service)

One way to reproduce is the following:\ Use the examples that ship with EMF Forms\ Generate a view for User and a view for Task into the same view model plugin\ Add a treemaster detail into both (leaving all generated controls)\ Now load the User View into the preview while the Task View is open. Then switch to the User View, Eclipse will freeze.

I can still reproduce this bug with 1.19.

Detailed steps to reproduce:

Install make-it-happen model and edit example
Create view model project for task class with defaults, then add a master detail (leaving everything else as is)
Create view model for user class with defaults and put it into view model project of task class, then add a master detail (leaving everything else as is)
open preview for task view model
in the task preview add the view model of the user select manage additional views and select to add view model of user\ => Eclipse will instantly freeze

Steps to reproduce missed one step, this is the full description:\ I can still reproduce this bug with 1.19.

Detailed steps to reproduce:

Install make-it-happen model and edit example
Create view model project for task class with defaults, then add a master detail (leaving everything else as is)
Create view model for user class with defaults and put it into view model project of task class, then add a master detail (leaving everything else as is)
open preview for task view model
in the task preview add the view model of the user select manage additional views and select to add view model of user
now switch back to the view model editor of the user view model \ => Eclipse will instantly freeze unrecoverably
