Fix for placeholders minimizing to trim #371

Problem: When the minmax addon (with partial restore) is used on a perspective that is composed of placeholders, the trim containing the buttons for the placeholders is not created (errors out).

The proposed fix is for this problem. Note that I'm not able to fully compile the project to test this out.

Well 3.x development happens in the 3.x-branch - please provide a PR on that one

I suggest you start from scratch and provide a clean PR against 3.x - the change itself is good and makes sense
