Migrate wiki pages to repo #497

Looks like p2 has also some value wiki pages we should migrate to the repo:

I think @HannesWell is currently using touch points to update / rename / replace some features so this one should IMHO be migrate

I think many/most of those things are in the help pages anyway...

I'm not a super heavy p2 user so I was hoping for more experience p2 users to point to their pages which they thing are valuable. Their is not contract for p2 wiki page migration so all migration work will be "just for fun", so I do not plan to invest heavily into it, but if someone can tell me that a page is valuable I can quickly try to migrate it.

The metadata one that I visit often. I think the rest is mostly outdated or already in the isv documentation. If you do the metadata one that would be great and much appreciated! 👍

There is indeed. I haven't checked all of the pages and compared it with the isv doc but I think theoretical pages targeting developers and explain the concepts are still valuable and not too out-dated. For example

On the other hand planning pages, build instructions like the following are heavily outdated or obsolete

Thanks for helping with this this is very helpful. But since the wiki will stay available as read-only page it is probably not too bad if we miss one or the other page.

I found the page below helpful today. I'm unsure what isv documentation is or where I can find it, so I'm uncertain whether it already contains the page.
