Background

The old kuksa.val repository was owned directly be the "eclipse" organization and contains many different components. By having dedicated repositories for each component and having all repositories owned by a KUKSA-organization we will gain some advantages:

Easier to do administrative work on each repository
Easier to handle lifecycle and releases of each component - no reason to tag and release all if there is no reason for that

Current Status

Files have been moved to this repository
First release have been created (as pre-release)
No known regressions
Removal of code from kuksa.val planned when release is approved

@SebastianSchildt - we have a pre-release at https://github.com/eclipse-kuksa/kuksa-python-sdk/releases/tag/0.4.2 and a PyPI package at https://pypi.org/project/kuksa-client/0.4.2/, and a docker container at https://github.com/eclipse-kuksa/kuksa-python-sdk/pkgs/container/kuksa-python-sdk%2Fkuksa-client

Could you check the release and see if it fulfill the requirements of being an official release. If/When that happens, we can start removing kuksa-client from master branch of kuksa.val
