Currently, only the MACHINE is used as default hostname, e.g. raspberrypi4-64 or qemux86-64. This makes it hard to distinguish multiple instances in the same network.
The hostname should be prefixed to leda-XXXX.
Wishes:
Dynamic hostnames would be good, as there may be many leda instances in the same network (e.g. during hackathons, local testing environments)
It may be great to have the Device ID reflected somehow in the hostname, but it's not a requirement
Both should be created as a OneShot service on first boot, before the whole services which rely on hostname are started.
Avahi should be preinstalled, to make it easier to discover the devices
