For now the simple pragmatic solution is to redefine documentation as a manually built contribution (just like the EMF models, LPG parsers and Xtext editors).

The Luna Maintenance build fails for the same reason. Forcing it to use Eclipse 4.3 rather than 4.4 ensures that old plugins are used, but still the problem occurs.

Seems to reduce to three possibilities.

• Eclipse/Hudson/HIPP has changed.
• The 'network' has changed - perhaps a mirror now gives us rubbish
• 'network' content has changed e.g. a DocBook XSD.

Still too hard. Just disable Doc aspects

The start of the failure broadly corresponds with installation of the shellshock patches on the HIPP. These may effect the propagation of shell variables within bash and so may explain why formerly working scripts now report uninitialized variables.

Build chnaged to treat documentation as a manual contribution.
