Workbench: upgrade YASQE and jQuery #1212

Open barthanssens opened 5 years ago

barthanssens commented 5 years ago

YASQE en jQuery are getting somewhat old, latest versions should fix some issues and/or are more optimized to use with (modern) browsers.

See #374 and #376

@barthanssens what's the status of this issue? It looks like everything was bumped apart from Prettier (I am not 100% across what that is tbh).

barthanssens commented 5 years ago

Hi, I still have to test it when I get back from holidays next week to see if the combination of new libraries actually works (it seems that some additional typescript conversion is also required, or at least TS seems to be used in the current version) The Prettier is a (apparently new) dependency listed in the editor (could perhaps be disabled, but it looks mandatory)...

abrokenjester commented 5 years ago

If you still need to raise a CQ for the Prettier library, I suggest that we postpone this upgrade until the release 3.1. The IP log for 3.0 has been reviewed and approved, and I'd hate to have to do a last-minute re-spin and getting it re-approved.

barthanssens commented 5 years ago

Yeah, sounds like a good idea to postpone it to 3.1

barthanssens commented 4 years ago

Testing, but Prettier might not be needed after all (at least, the WB does seem to work without it ...)

New version (v4) see https://triply.cc/docs/yasgui and https://triply.cc/docs/yasgui-api
