I recently installed an instance on a quad-core E3-1270 v6 @ 3.80GHz with 32GB RAM

I noticed that when the analysis is running on, the CPU load on the host remains pretty low, ie within 1.0 to 1.3 range. It basically means that the host cores/threads are not used optimally. If it were, I should see at least a load of about 8 (100% CPU usage to all threads).

On the memory side, I am currently investigating because I had some errors (#98) on another 16GB host. It didn't happened yet on the current one.

When running in a VM, with 8 processors and 16GB of RAM I have the following resource usage:

You're lucky. I get the following output in htop. Could you please share a screenshot of yours ?

I got the following result using htop monitoring tool. The workstation is a quad-core 4 processors and 16 GB of RAM. xwikiplatform-htop
