Missing Bugzilla redirect #201

Many projects provide an entry in the Bugzilla root page that redirects to the replacement. Sirius does not.

(The old Bugzilla is often the best way to locate the new report location of an Eclipse project, so please support it.)

Hi Ed, What do you mean by "Bugzilla root page" ? Do you have example of projects doing what you expect to help us to do the same (some pointers or URL) ? Regards, Laurent

Is https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/describecomponents.cgi?product=Sirius the bugzilla root page ? Because in this page, it is clearly said that : Bugzilla is no longer the bug tracker of the Sirius project. Please use the dedicated issue tracker at https://github.com/eclipse-sirius/sirius-desktop/issues

See https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi where at least the four platform projects have helpful links.

In contrast https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?classification=Modeling has a teaser at the top mentioning Sirius but nothing lower down where it could mention https://github.com/eclipse-sirius/sirius-desktop/issues

(It took me some time perusing the various repositories to guess that sirius-desktop was the new sirius.)

I think that Sirius is no longer in the list because it has been disabled from Bugzilla. The problem seems similar for JDT here. I've created this issue to ask if something can be done.
