I have validated the ECA already like 20 times. Not sure why it still doesn't work...

Did you sign the ECA using the same email address you use for your Github account? That is the only way it'll work. If you have, you should open a ticket here: https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipsefdn/helpdesk/-/issues

Er, yes. There is only one email address linked to my github account...
