The paper Study of the platooning fuel efficiency under ETSI ITS-G5 communications has air-drag reduction curves for passenger cars and HDV depending on platoon position and spacing. (se Fig 2 & 3 on page 4). I.e. 0%, 2%, 6% and 7% at 20m
The data for passenger cars its taken from The Aerodynamic Performance Of Platoons: A Final Report whereas the HDV curve comes are cited as coming from AERODYNAMICS OF ROAD VEHICLES
not in any detail but maybe as some nice analytical formula that takes into account the distance to the leader and the frontsurfaceArea of the vehicles involved.
