vscode is landing custom file icons support. https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/issues/14662#issuecomment-787912133

It would be nice to provide our own file icon for TDs.

I have submitted one to wikimedia to use for the TD article in Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Thing_Description#/media/File:ThingDescription_Logo.png

Cool thank you for the inputs! not sure if they blend well with the vscode theme. Anyhow it is a great start!
