Description

To implement Cypress for automated E2E testing across modules, starting with primary features, to ensure consistent workflow validation, enable early bug detection, and enhance overall release reliability.

Acceptance Criteria

[ ] Add Cypress as a project dependency to enable E2E testing capabilities.
[ ] Develop essential Cypress tests to cover modules (such as apps, services, user management, etc.).
[ ] Integrate Cypress tests into our CI/CD pipeline for seamless automated execution with every deployment.

Additional Information

Cypress stands out as a powerful and efficient test automation tool, perfectly suited for modern web applications. By implementing this solution, we can achieve faster release cycles and significantly improve error detection.
We can also configure the cypress plugin @cypress/code-coverage: To saves the code coverage collected during Cypress tests

Sure @MaximilianHauer, we have an internal sync scheduled for tomorrow (at 2:15 IST) to plan the test automation alignment.
