Description

Task created from bug 553322

Being able to build easily understand how to build the software is an important part of developing community. It took me a few steps to figure out how to build (I had to go and review your Jenkins build).

Please either (or, even better, both):

  • Add a pom.xml to the root directory
  • Add build instructions in your README or CONTRIBUTING file.

We should ensure build information is up-to-date and available from the repository. A good time to do that would be when clean up the build system after we migrate from JIPP to JIRO.
