are we changing releases to release for a reason? The branch releases/10.2 or so releases/ is all releases....not just a single release.

I changed it to singular because I thought the plural form was unnecessary; my thinking was that a branch should be classified as a 'release' and then be given a corresponding release number. But either way is fine with me. I'll change it back to the plural form.
