I am using Windows 10 and the following for Eclipse.

Eclipse IDE for C/C++ Developers (includes Incubating components) Version: 2021-12 (4.22.0) Build id: 20211202-1639

I installed aCute into that. I installed .Net Core 3.1 SDK outside of VS 2022. The dotnet --info command says:

.NET SDKs installed: 3.1.416 [C:\Program Files\dotnet\sdk] 6.0.101 [C:\Program Files\dotnet\sdk]

Should that work? I still do not have templates in aCute.

I know I installed a Core SDK, not a Framework SDK, but I do not see how to ensure that the installed 3.1 SDK is Core and not Framework.

Does anyone know how to apply scheind's version of the plugin to Eclipse installation? The versions available through the marketplace are very old

akurtakov commented 1 year ago

It is probably easier to convince him to contribute to this plugin and probably take it over.

mickaelistria commented 1 year ago

@scheind would you be interested in contributing your patch as a PR to aCute and then be nominated as a committer?

scheind commented 1 year ago

Hi. I created the PR. Still completely new to this, so let me know if I need to do something.

So as a dumb question here to all...what do i need to do to install/use the GitHub version? mvn install? then what?

Fix for project templates is still not working, even after using the snapshot/master branch version in a fresh version of Eclipse.

Running on Linux Mint 21 (jammy), and dotnet7

Please test latest snapshot.
