as announced here Vaadin 8 UI (the one you are using) is discontinued. Meaning, that even if there is a bug it is highly improbable to be fixed in the scope of the Eclipse hawkBit project.
However, I doubt there is a bug that prevents you from creating a rollout. In order to specify here a custom filter you should go to the Target Filter management and create a filter. Then you'll be able to select it in this Rollout creation view
I'm trying to configure the hawkbit for OTA updates following this guide However, I notice that there is a bug on the Vaadin UI in the rollout management tab where I'm unable to create a custom target filter. I'm neither able to create a custom target filter via the frontend nor am I prompted with the predefined defaults This is mandatory and I'm unable to do a rollout. Are there any solutions to address this? The #922 discusses a similar issue but I don't see a solution.
