develop branch is ~900 commits ahead of master #3001

Branch develop seems to be really ahead of master. Can we expect a new release some time soon? Would be great to see all the develop features into a 2.1 release.

Also, anyone know what is the meaning of this eclipse.org page about a 2.1 release?
