Update Ponte so that it runs on the latest Node LTS version #28

Ponte should be able to run on the latest versions of node Update/refactor the codebase so that it can run on the latest Node LTS version 6.9.2+

I did the needed dependency upgrades and I tested Ponte with node v6.9.3 and v7.4.0. Everything seems to be working good. I will do few more tests and create a pull request when I'm done.

The changes have been merged into the master
