Recover better after VLC crash #17

VLC sometimes causes a kernel oops and crashes, sometimes the old VLC can't be unloaded when it is forced. Sometimes causes the last frame from old player to obscure "Locked No Video" message.

Need to work out how to kill python libvlc

VLC Crashes seem to have been fixed upstream, reopen this if they reoccur
