Rachel and I started working on writing up a draft of our analysis. We also have started drafting the data section of our report, and Rachel wrote the majority of what we need for our literature review, both of which we plan to submit alongside the analysis draft.
Here are some problems I foresee:
Questions for Prof. Buzard:
@kbuzard We are submitting our draft of the analysis section (and lit review & data) for your review. It is my understanding that the .zip file will open like a .tex file, but please let me know if it does not function correctly and I will alter things on my end. I wrote this in the abstract section of the paper, but we would appreciate you taking a lot at the data and literature review sections that we worked on. NepoBabies Analysis Draft.zip NepoBabies_Analysis_Draft.pdf
Thank you!
@rpseely I need the .tex file to be added to the file system of your repository (not attached to an issue) so that I can give feedback on it line-by-line. I would prefer to have the PDF there as well.
For the data section of our paper, should we mention the original dataset we were given or only talk about the specific years we analyzed? We mentioned why we only used certain years of GSS data (presence of a key variable), but should we mention the 1972-2022 dataset outside of the documentation?
Instead of talking about the dataset you were given, in the report you could talk about the availability of the GSS in general, and then discuss why you are using the specific years you are using.
we would appreciate you taking a lot at the data and literature review sections that we worked on
Will do!

It should be in the repository file system now in a .tex file and in a .pdf file. Please let me know if it still is not working.
We need to write a draft of the analysis section of our project by Tuesday, December 12, at 8 a.m. and submit it by uploading a PDF of our complied LaTeX report and by uploading a .tex file to GitHub. That will be uploaded in this issue when it is completed. The title of the file should be: "Projectname Analysis Draft”
