Moving on to Ch. 9 Bayesian Goodness of Fit

We basically wrapped up Ch. 8 today, waving our hands and cursing optim() a bit. Next week we'll meet to discuss Ch. 9, everyone having read it and maybe tried the code a bit even if we didn't finish it. Then two weeks we'll finish it up. Sound good?

Even if we don't get to code, it might be helpful to talk about the examples in the book and work through a few numeric problems. Nope, the Interlibrary loan request has not been replied by any uni yet so it has not arrived yet. I'm planning to go early tomorrow to the library see if that missing book is in shelf now, or I'll stop by Darcy's office (not sure I'll have enough time if I do the later). I'm up to meet anyhow, hopefully with the chapter read
