Hello jaredtritz,

I saw in the readme.txt you mentioned this dataset was published in conjunction with a paper, I wonder if you willing to update the citation of the paper. Thank you so much!

Best regards,

Xiaosong

Hi jaredtritz,

Thank you for your prompt respond. The link of the readme.txt is https://github.com/ecoach/plos_dataset/blob/master/readme.txt I believe it should belong to a paper about "ECoach" system or analysis about student academic performance analysis/prediction. I recently saw some introductions of ECoach and some other project under DIG; it seems like my daydreams came true, so I wonder if I could dig a little deeper to see how it works.

Thank you for your help, and I appreciate your time and effort.

Best wishes,

Xiaosong

I've updated the readme.txt file you linked to with a link to the paper. Another thing to watch for is an upcoming web framework called JSonSails. We're preparing to launch version 2.0 of a web framework to support development, deployment, and management of applications and data, like the electronic coaching application ECoach. It will probably take another couple months to be completely launched, but if you care keep an eye out you can join the email list at the .org site.

Thank you so much for your information, I am going to study this paper. I am not a web developer or CS student, but a recently graduated Master in Statistics with a personal interest in IT. Recently, I found that DIG team has a job opening for Data Scientist. I went through the job description and felt there is a significant overlap with my skills and interest, so I want to get a little bit deeper understanding.

Thank you for your help.
