Properly cite IUCN #16

IUCN has very restrictive terms of use on its website - may be able to use GBIF as an alternative data source

You are very welcome to use the data in this way: please just make sure you cite the Red List as the source of the data appropriately: https://www.iucnredlist.org/about/citationinfo . Please do also check that you use the "Country legends" filter appropriately, to exclude Extinct, Introduced, and Vagrant species, assuming this is appropriate for your use - if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get back to me."
