We believe something is wrong with Soil's methods: s, theta, and/or psi. S*, for example, should be lower than field capacity, but currently returns 1. Additionally the hygroscopic values associated with loamy sand and loam should be 0.07 and 0.19, respectively, according to Liao et al. 2001b, Figure 6. However they currently return 0.32 and 0.55.
