We implement an increasing number of tools and we need to access them in a logical and space-efficient way.

Similar tools should be grouped under the same tab in a panel to the right of the spectrogram. The different tabs could be:

• display: FFT settings, future: spectro gain (#349 )
• annotation: the tag window should be docked here and show a selection of the most important fields for the currently selected tag (), with the possibility of opening the larger, original tag window with a button click (remember: #287 )
• Analysis: FMaxE button, acoustic indices, neural nets, future: SPL (#254)
• utilities: spectrogram, audio, and future: spectrum (#231) download, labeling
• info: file duration, sampling rate, bits, channels, time and date, site and coordinates, ecosystem, summary statistics about number of tags and tag types (e.g., species)

Ideally, the tabs design in the admin interface and the analysis panel should have a similar or consistent look.

@LiuDilongNJ 's suggestion to display the panel not on the side but below the spectrogram: "The recording page should display the spectrum graph as large as possible, with all functions placed below the image." To be tested.
