I was not able to locate this issue online or reproduce it myself, but apparently we've received complaints about it. @econchick Any more details?

Maybe this: as virtualenvwrapper.sh is meant to be sourced, not run as a script would, so Debian and its derivatives put it under /usr/share/virtualenvwrapper and not in /usr/bin.
