for studies from mdr the format is equivalent to RMS-trialid to be considered how this impact FAIRness (possible inflation of ids relating to the same object)
for a DO the id seems to be (tbc)
studyID::internalID::object-title
which makes it rather unwieldy if to be used in a URI
for DT and DU we use our internal id for the url. we should decide a definite format for it, which is a primary identifier (we are actually creating a new object in the universal data space, not making a new instance of an already existing object, e.g. a study from a repository).
at the moment our identifiers have a format of the type:
RMS-alfanumericstring
where the alfanumericstring MUST contain digit and text characters.
we should aim to make our identifiers permanent and at least objects and studies reachable via them (url) RMS is more of an internal acronym now.
please suggest possible new format or reasons to keep the current one
