Freezes and shuts down whilst using ISO/CSO #224

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Starting up any ISO/CSO
2. Playing for a short while
3. Loading new part of game or loading a cutscene

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect the game to continue without it freezing and shutting down.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
6.39PRO-B9 BETA on both 1000 and 2000 model psp.

Please provide any additional information below.
I thought it might just be the one ISO but it happens with all ISO/CSO, even
ones that used to run fine when I was using M33-6. For example it freezes a
couple of screens into a new game of Lego StarWars: Clone wars, cutscenes
freeze on Lego Pirates of the Carribean and randomly freezes after trying to
customize character setup on Bleach Soul Carnival 2.

The M33 comes with Prometheus. If you run any game file on it, the file will
get Prometheus.

Try on other ISO that doesn't have Prometheus infected.

I've tried with other ISO/CSO since upgrading to Proloader that wouldn't be
affected by previous M33 software, such as Lego Pirates of the Carribean and am
still having no luck... I know this software works because I recommended it to
my cousin and he is running Kingdom Hearts:BBS fine on his pspgo yet it won't
work at all on my psp1000 or 2000

Still having no luck, reinstalled 6.39PRO on psp2000 and tried the games on a
new memory card but Legostarwars 3 still freezes at same place each time even
though I downloaded ISO from a different place and patched it myself.

Just realised you've updated to 6.60 lol. Unfortunately even after updating
games still freeze. Would there be a way to solve it using the recovery menu?
Changing the speed or whatnot? I'm asking before I attempt because I don't want
to make things any worse than they already are...

Probably a faulty memory stick.
Please use another genuine memory stick and install the latest version of the
ProCFW.
Then disable all your plugins and tell us if you still have the issue
