Is Kubler ever going to be part of the main portage tree? #195

Neat project. I ran across it while trying to wrap my head around Docker images on Gentoo. I see that this project has its own portage overlay. Also, when I searched https://packages.gentoo.org but didn't see a kubler ebuild.

Do you intend to integrate Kubler into Gentoo's main portage tree? Is there practical consideration that prevents this? Either way, you might want to explain this in your project's readme.

I'd guess adding Kubler to the main portage tree would be quite a bit of work. It would probably be easier to add it to: https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Project:GURU

I'm happy to facilitate it getting into ::gentoo if someone wishes to package it up, but maybe GURU would be a good idea first.

@thesamesam What do you mean by "package it up"? There is an Ebuild for the most recent version already.

Sadly this version currently has a bug due to the most recent change with the DIGEST.asc files. There is a PR for it, as you've noticed.

Thanks for the offer, will most likely get back to you on that at some point in the future.
