Prompt before closing tab #12

It would be nice if there was a prompt asking if you want to leave the page if you have any unsaved changes. I've been bit by this more then once.

We have not put in such a prompt since many users find such "Are you sure you want to leave?" pop-ups annoying. Currently, if a playground has been modified, there will be an asterisk next to the Save button: capture

That said, I can see how such a prompt would be useful. How about making it a user setting -- a user can select ahead of time on the user page whether they want to see such a save reminder pop-up? By default there will be no pop-up.

Sure a user setting would be fine. Working on OSX the touch pad gesture to switch desktops is a 4 finger swipe to the left. The touch gesture to go back in the browser is a 2 finger swipe to the left. So sometimes it only picks up 2 fingers and I accidentally lose all my work.

I added a user option on the User page: capture

Please try out the feature and let us know if it does not work as expected. These alerts are disabled by default.
