letterhead margins #29

Is there any option to adjust the margins of the letterhead/foot? Or interest in such an option?

To accomodate a4 vs us letter? Or just in general?

If you can find a clean, non-perturbing way to add we can surely take a look. I still use it a lot as it is.

In general. I'd like to be able to add a logo (a simple PNG) within the margins of the page without having to produce a PDF insert with the proper margins.

Yeah I may have forgotten how I set it up initially. I may have used the pdf snippet to also accomodate spacing. In the local settings I use in each letter I include letterhead-scale : x.y and letterfoot-scale: a.b. We should have room to add an 'offset' value or alike.

Could the wallpaper.sty file be bundled in this package? The thing is that this functionality would be extremely easy to add via the \ThisULPositionWallPaper{<scaling>}{x-offset}{y-offset}{<filename>} command and the like, but this is available in v1.30 (here, see the manual), and apparently this version was never released to CTAN, because v1.10 is listed there.

I like the idea.

Can you make a PR does that, and ideally also includes a (random, fake) sample letter with a wallpaper'ed background?

Sure!
