Slider? #136

I tried to upload images for the slider per Kelly's instructions. The homepage slider does not update; however, the static homepage slider is inserted into the page where I tried to upload the image. See screen shot below:

I gave you the wrong instructions. To add an image, go to FA Lite Sliders in the left hand menu and select Sliders. Then click on Select Pages under Slider Options. Select the pages you want a slider for and then close the window and update.

Ok. Here's another question: How do we choose which image will show up? Currently, I have the sliders set for the 125 page and subscriptions. The 125 is pulling the correct image. The subscriptions page is pulling a random image from within the page, and not the specific slider we made for it (since it needs to include copy about buying subscriptions). Also, any word on how to add sliders for performance pages?

You need to assign the slider image. On the page you want to link to with the slider, go to the section called Featured Articles Lite and click on Set image

Find the appropriate image in the popup and click on Show [image: Inline image 2]

Click Set as FA Lite featured image [image: Inline image 3]

Adjust the Link URL to the page

Click on OK or Insert (or similar button. I can't remember what the text is)

Click on the update button on the page.

Open a ticket about the performance/event sliders in Github and assign to Eddie.

Thank you. The correct images are displaying, but they don't appear to be clickable?

I'm taking the main thrust here is the clickability of the slider - I believe there are other issues open for other topics regarding the slider.
