GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
Version of OOo2GD: 3.0.0
Version of Java: Sun Java 6 6.26-3
Operating System: Debian/GNU Linux
Version of OO.org: LibreOffice
Is OO.org using Sun Java?: Yes

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try to import from or export to Google Documents (with very simple password)
2. Systematic Invalid Credentials

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected import or export. Error instead.

Thank You!

The problem is solved, for me, with two phases connexion in Google! :-)

For clarity, Pierre C's "two phases connexion" is referring to the security
option of 2-step verification. I think once this has been turned on, then you
need to generate special passwords for the various applications that cannot
work with 2-step verification. (Your existing password for your gmail account
does not work.)

The current link to get there is: www.google.com/settings/general.

I am entering this addendum because even though Google found me Pierre's
remarks, it took me another half hour to figure out that his applied to me, and
that this had nothing at all to do with '@' in the password.

Go to https://accounts.google.com/b/0/IssuedAuthSubTokens?hide_authsub=1 and
create app specific password.

I had this problem and I enabled the option "Access to less secure
applications" in https://myaccount.google.com/, instead security option of
2-step verification.
