I upgraded from xp to win 7 home 64bit. Before formatting I've unlocked the
files & then copied them succesfully to another drive. After installing the new
OS I tried opening the files with no success (appear as green). Installed
LockAFolder for 64 bit, entered my password & through the rescue centre
selected the root folder for my files & unlocked it. It gave no errors & the
folder name was changed to "recovered..." but still can't open the files.
I went through the suggested solutions, such as changing ownership but nothing
seem to work.
Need a fix ASAP, lot's of business files.
